Ridge Communications Completes Major DAS Deployment for Atlanta Sports Venue

Ridge Communications, Inc. has successfully completed a distributed antenna system (DAS) installation at a major sports and entertainment venue in the Atlanta metropolitan area, delivering carrier-grade in-building wireless coverage across more than 800,000 square feet.

The project, completed ahead of schedule, involved coordination with three major wireless carriers and required over 1,200 antenna endpoints across the facility's concourses, suites, and field level. Ridge Communications served as the prime contractor, managing design, permitting, installation, and carrier acceptance testing from start to finish.

Ridge Communications Expands Southern California Operations with New Simi Valley Office

Ridge Communications has opened a new operations facility in Simi Valley, California, expanding its capacity to serve wireless carriers and enterprise clients throughout the greater Los Angeles and Ventura County markets.

The new facility at 2320 Shasta Way, Unit A, Simi Valley, CA 93065 will serve as a staging and operations hub for outside plant and in-building wireless projects across Southern California. The expansion reflects growing demand for 5G infrastructure construction and DAS deployment services in the region.

Ridge Communications Awarded Outside Plant Contract for Multi-Route Fiber Build in Georgia

Ridge Communications has been awarded a multi-route outside plant fiber construction contract in the greater Atlanta area, encompassing aerial and underground fiber installation across several municipalities in Cherokee and Cobb counties.

The project scope includes directional boring, conduit installation, aerial strand and lash, fusion splicing, and OTDR testing across approximately 45 route miles. Construction is scheduled to begin in Q2 2026, with completion targeted for Q4 2026. Ridge Communications will self-perform all phases of the work using its own licensed crews.

Ridge Communications has been designated a preferred contractor by a major national wireless carrier for 5G small cell and DAS deployment projects across its California and Georgia service territories.

The preferred contractor designation reflects Ridge Communications' track record of on-time delivery, carrier-specification compliance, and quality closeout documentation. The designation covers new site construction, modification, and maintenance work across both states.

Ridge Communications Completes Highway 101 Aerial Extension in Carpinteria, California

Ridge Communications has completed an aerial cable extension project along the Highway 101 corridor in Carpinteria, California, restoring and extending telecommunications infrastructure serving the coastal community.

The project required coordination with Caltrans, local utilities, and the County of Santa Barbara to execute aerial construction within the highway right-of-way. Ridge Communications managed all permitting, traffic control, and construction activities, completing the work within the approved encroachment permit window.
